This has nothing to do with wearing a sparkly diamond ring on your finger.
You don’t need a rock to know if you’re engaged. It’s there in your eyes. In your attention. In your energy.
An ‘engaged’ person sees what is going on around them, and wants to be part of the action.
Having a conversation with someone who is really engaged makes you come alive. It’s how dreams are ignited, winning strategies are formulated, and innovation is birthed. To start something that matters, you’ll have to get engaged. How?
Start noticing small details.
Start looking directly into the eyes of the person opposite you.
Start seeing every situation, piece of work, and activity in front of you as an open door you’re about to intentionally walk through.
And once you enter, stay there. Don’t begin formulating an exit plan before you’ve even got stuck in.
Be Engaged.
